Funny, yet important, if not disaster will happen!

Do you remember the news about some lorry ramming into an over head bridge because the driver never realize the height limit? After that some other bus ram into the same bridge, also failing to heed the warning sign.

Another similiar incident, nearer to my house, will be some lorry drivers never realize their vehicle's height, resulting in traffic congestion because they ram into some height barrier built there. All these accidents caused damage to their vehicles, caused some traffic congestions, probably some damage to those structures involved, and that's about it.

But what actually caught my attention was this sand barge in China. There was a huge bridge across the river, and the sand barge ram straight into it! Guess what happens next? Part of the bridge collapse! I am not sure if there are any deaths (high chances there are), but I mean, shouldn't the pilot knows his ship well enough to avoid these accidents? From what I heard last, there are still 7 cars missing after falling into the river.

So, to compare those few incidents mentioned above will be way too insignificant compared to the incident in China, wouldn't it? I guess people should be more aware and alert! Lolz

Good news and BAD NEWS

There's good news, and there's bad news. =(

First up, the good news. I didn't screw History 1 test 1 after all. I don't understand how he (Borges) allocate the marks for our answer, but everyone seems to be getting fairly good results. =) I got 71 marks, not sure it's out of 80 or 100. But anyway, it's just 0.7% difference if that matters.

Next, bad news. REAL BAD!! =( Borges finally got everyone into their trials. And we lost Grace to that bloody witchcraft trials. WTF?! What happened to all those people who raised their hand in support of that cliche witchcraft trial? If my memory (and Wern How's!) serve me right, I remember about half the class voted on witchcraft while the other half was on loyalist! And now you tell me that no one is interested in joining witchcraft, or rather only 6 people willingly join that trial. Where's the logic?! Sigh... I want Grace to be in my group! =( She and Wern How are the people we (me, David, Julian) waited for to take this class for the trials, and now we lost one of them. SOBS!!! Guess we gotta live with it. Borges don't allow changes! =(

Anyway, to add salt to my wounds, I am coming down with a bad flu. =( *sniff* Going to have sore throat soon. And I have basketball match this Saturday. Wonder how will I survive. =(

Sigh. Signing off from a bad day.

A little updates

Guess what people? This noob here actually got second place in DYP yesterday! Lolz. Nearly won, both games leading 4-1 or something like that, but couldn't seem to defend that bloody snake shot. Too bad. On a brighter note, I got some marnee back to cover the cost of the DYP. Hahaa... Thanks to KoHei to bring me to the DYP finals, going against the very same pair who knocked us into the losers' bracket. Hey, everyone deserves a second chance, right? =p

Because of the DYP, I was 2 hours late for my next appointment. Lolz. So so sorry to Jian Wei. I actually promised to play basketball in college at 6pm, but ended up playing at 8pm. Hahaa... And he send me home some more. Thanks man. Love you! Hahahaa...

Inter AUP challenge is coming up this Saturday! Me and Aaron playing in the basketball event. Guess what? I don't even know who my team mates are! It's a 5-v-5 tournament, and I only know Aaron as my team mate! The others? Erh... No idea? Lolz. Anyone care to go to INTI Nilai to support us? Heheh

OMG! I have this really bad ulcer in my mouth. I got it courtesy of someone's shoulder giving me an upper cut during basketball in Puchong! Gosh, its so bad that I practically have to stop doing whatever I am doing if I accidentaly touch it. And it happens to me few hundred times a day because it's in a place where it's so so easily being touched be my teeth! Talk about efficiency yo! I must have been wasting almost 15 minutes a day! =(

That's all this time around. Nothing much happening these days, except for the extremely glaring English grammar mistakes in the sports section of yesterday (13th June, 2007) newspaper! Oh, we still have yet to start our trials. I was actually expecting it after our 10 minutes break but it never did. Sigh. Adioz!

Girls, love or hate? Or love AND hate?

Well, I don't know it is just me or not, but I seem to notice more and more female smokers lately. And, AND, most of them are actually quite pretty! OMG!!

I just can't understand it! Why do they have to smoke? I bet they do know that it shortens their life, yet they still light up and puff like a chimney in winter. Sigh.

Back to the point that they are actually quite pretty. Yes, I must admit that they are pretty, but yet they are not pretty enough to the point where smoking is permitted to me. To me, except that you are so pretty till your face start appearing in billboards and magazine cover, something like America's Next Top Model, then I would understand why you smoke. It is due to the stress posed to you. Some may say that smoking does not ease the stress, but to me, that pretty face might just be enough to erase the fact that you smoke. =p

Too bad, I have not seen (face to face) any girl here in Malaysia that is so so captivating; so so pretty till she can be the next top model. Blame me that I don't visit clubs and bars, but that will be stereotyping all models and local celebrities as people who frequent these places, won't it be?

Anyway, it isn't for me to judge them, is it? It's their own life, and they themselves will suffer or enjoy it, therefore it does not matter to me that much, does it? Unless she is my girlfriend/wife then it will be a different case, wouldn't it? If only we can order our partner like how we choose to custom make a car or shoe or whatever.

*dreams* I would love to have a... long haired, captivating eyes, cheeks that is similiar to those few lucky friends of mine (no need to maintain yet no pimples whatsoever!!), probably with dimples? Someone who is confident with her body, you know, don't always complain that she's fat or whatsoever. Someone who knows how to dress appropriately (according to occasion that is), etc etc... *slap*

Oops!! I wonder too much didn't I? Sorry! Gosh!! I sound so... perverted! So... evil! I don't mean to, and I don't want to! I think everyone might just love the idea or choosing or customizing their partner like what they do for cars or house or whatever, am I not right? I do treat girls (and guys of course!) with utmost respect. Trust me, I don't treat girls like they are just another asset or anything. Girls are wonderful, aren't they? Without them, I wouldn't be here crapping! =p Yeah man, girls rock! Love them! Hahaha...

Anyway, if this post offend you or anything, do tell me. Comment or a message at the side, I might justify my stand, or might as well take this down. Hahahaa... So long, adioz!

Congratulations!!

I would like to congratulate myself for officially screwing up my History test 1. Thank you for the award, I really DON'T appreciate it. First of all, let me thank my parents, the son of my mother, my dear laptop who spent so many hours churning out graphics of Command & Conquer 3, my tv for letting me watch hours of music videos, and my textbook so that I won't hand in a blank piece of paper.

Even though I didn't hand in a blank piece of paper, I still managed to screw it throughly. It's worth 10% (I think), so I can kiss goodbye to A+. Well, not that I can actually score A+ in Borges' class anyway.

Our trials topic are out. One is Should the Loyalist be hanged? and the other one is the cliche Witchcraft. Not that I intend to offend anyone, but I think that witchcraft has been trial topic for so many semesters that I find it boring. Well, I have been in INTI since May 2005, and now it's May 2007, and every semester which have History 1 will surely have witchcraft as trials. Gosh! Don't you think that's too boring already? Anyway, I will be in the Loyalist trial, just hoping that I get to join the ideal group in my mind. Borges said he will choose the lawyer this time, just hope that he will allow us freedom in choosing team mates! =p

That's pretty much all for today. Even though I intended this to be a short post, it turn out that I can really crap. =p

Damn, I screwed my test 1. Now I need to do well for the other tests. Or should I just aim for C+ and get 2 consecutive C+? Noooooooooo!!!!!

Top 10 coolest job

I have composed a list of top 10 coolest job almost everyone, ok ok, just me and maybe some others, that will want to have. Here goes!

  1. Be a racer. Never mind if it's F1 or Moto GP or Super GT, whatever! Just a full time professional racer. Live life in the fast lane babe! =p
  2. Be a sports professional, and for me, NBA basketballer. That will be so goddamn cool, don't you think so? All the time just shoot, dunk, train, play, thrash oponents.
  3. Be a full time blogger. Yes, this is one of the amazing job too! Click on the link which says "Nicole" on the sidebar. She is a full time blogger now. I want that too!! Don't you think it's wonderful? Sit around the whole day and just blog, crap whatever you want to. Love it!
  4. Be a professional shooter. I have to admit, I always dream of holding some cool looking sniper, aiming at some crooks, gun them down, save the day, most of all, EARN BIG BUCKS! =p
  5. Be someone who can predict the stock market so well that failure is not a word in my dictionary. I would be extremely rich, won't I? Just sit in front of the computer and start trading shares, earning millions in a minute. =p
  6. Be a hacker. Yes, hacking is always been associated with negative images, but hacking is a good profession too! Without hackers, you wouldn't have anti-hacking softwares! =p
  7. Be a photographer who travels around the world, at my company's expense, of course! Wouldn't it be great to travel the world as your job, all expenses paid, and just to produce some images at the end of the day? Lovely... ^^
  8. Be a successful stock broker. I like the idea of buying property, then selling it off for a higher price, earning how much I can persuade people to buy it. =)
  9. Be a pilot! I have always dreamt of being a pilot. It's so darn cool to walk out of the plane in those uniforms, with all people respecting you. Too bad I can't achieve this already. I am short sighted. =(
  10. Be a professional gamer. Yes, those people who hogs the computer/PS2/PS3/Wii/XBox, whatever, for 24/7. Well, not exactly. My idea of a professional gamer is those who play games to win competition, and get sponsored by joining competitions. Something like what Korea is doing massively. Imagine yourself playing C&C 3 or CS or DotA with millions o people watching and cheering you. That's what you call professional gamer, isn't it?

Okay, that's the top 10 coolest job I can think of now. I do hope I can get one or more of it. I ain't that greedy am I? =p

Yeah yeah, I know I should be studying for my History 1's test 1 this coming Thursday. But but, this is my last sem! Let me enjoy a little more wouldn't be asking too much, would it? Anyway, I am playing basketball in college tomorrow evening too! Let's see how I go along with my History 1's studies later, ok? Heheh -peace brother- =p

Property shopping

My uncle wanted to hunt for property, either a house or an apartment, yesterday. I tagged along with my mum and him and off we went in search for property. It was pretty interesting I would say. I took this particular picture because I found it hilarious.

See the space there? There's a tag in it. And it reads:

Lolz!! How is anyone supposed to place himself or herself in that small space? It's quite high up too! Hahaa...

Walk around the ladder, I am supposed to. Am I right? =p

There are other houses and apartment we saw. My uncle like properties which comes along with landscaping and guarded property. Imagine having this smack in the middle of your personal rest room!

Well, okay. That's not supposed to be in your own private rest room. It's the club house's rest room. But imagine having a pond with plants and sunlight in the middle of your rest room. You must be extremely rich, must you not?

Each apartment we saw has its own features, and each comes along with its appropriate price tag. The more you pay, the more you get.

The same applies to houses. You want to enjoy such nice scenery, with such a huge park for leisure?

Well, fork out RM600,000 and above then you've got a deal! Lolz

After spending half a day looking at quite a number of properties, I noticed something. There is a common selling point for all properties nowadays, and that is feng shui. Yes, you heard me right, it is feng shui.

For example, there is this particular project which consist of two hotel blocks and four apartment blocks. It's all built in a trapezium-shaped enclosure, with its entrance at the shorter part of the two parallel straight lines. The hotels are built at a 45 degree slant, causing a funnel-shaped entrance.

This property is known as Platinum Damansara, currently still under construction.
Guess what? That actually is for feng shui purposes. It's built like that so that it symbolizes what goes in won't come out. And what do you want to go in but not out? Money, wealth, of course! Pretty interesting thinking huh? Don't believe in this? Check out Hong Kong's harbour then. Its entrace is much bigger than its exit!

Other feng shui features includes which part your property should face, which house to buy because of the number and things like that. It really makes me wonder why buy the property if there are so many constraints. You know, financing, transport, bla bla bla, and now you add another element inside the equation of property purchasing stress which is feng shui. Does it really matter that much?

After knowing roughly what are the prices of properties here in this area, my uncle told me to be sure of how much money I can earn by working in the States (if I have the chance, that is) and how big of a property I would want to own. If you have the money, there are surely one thousand and one ways to spend it.
